As a Blackberry user and fan for many years, there's one accessory I stand by 100%. It's RIM's charging pod. This charging pod acts as a dock to dock your phone and charge it without wearing out your Blackberry's USB charging port. Even after several weeks of charging your Blackberry with just the supplied wall charger, the USB ports on Blackberrys (and other devices as well) are known to come loose, or shear away from the motherboard of the phone.
This essentially makes your phone useless. Having a Blackberry charging pod ensures your USB port is never used for charging. Just drop your phone in and go! The charging pod is intelligent and will stop charging the phone when the battery is fully charged. Plus it looks great on your desk in the office or at home. Personally, I have two. Blackberry makes this charging pod for all the models: 8100, 8300, 8900, 9000, 9700 Bold/Onyx, 9550 Storm 2, and even the Storm 1.
Personally, no better deals are found on these pods than on Amazon where they can be had dirt cheap with fast shipping. Prices range from $2-$12 depending on model. Cheap insurance!
